So if I have been on this Trulance medication for 3 weeks how long would it take to be out of my system ?
It takes approximately 148.5 days (21 weeks or 5 months) for Emgality to be out of your system.
The elimination half life of Emgality is 27 days.
This is the time it takes for your body to reduce the plasma levels by half.
It usually takes around 5.5 x elimination half-life for a drug to be eliminated from your system.
Therefore 5.5 x 27 days = 148.5 day (21 weeks or 5 months) for Emgality to be cleared from you body.
This is an estimate as half-life varies from person to person due to patient-specific variables and drug-specific variables.
