9 months for your body to adjust to being on it, I mean. Had you stayed with it.
Sorry, my original reply didn't post.
Everyone is different.
It can take up to 9 months to get used to Depo & stop bleeding, when first going onto it. That's common to experience that.
When you miss your shot, it can take months to get a regular, fertile cycle back. The Manufacturer advises up to 18 months, but for me it didn't work. I tried to come off & bled for 2 years, & doctors tried everything.
I ended up going back onto Depo to stop the bleeding.
I managed to get off Depo finally, about 5 years ago, when I found a natural product that balanced my hormones.
I still use it now, to keep my periods regular & light, & lessen my PMS.
As I say, it's just a case of waiting to see how your body copes. It's got artificial hormone from both the implant & from Depo, so it's going to be pretty confused at the moment.
So i should stay on it ? I just don't like bleeding if i knew it would make me bleed for months straight to i wouldnt of got on it my periods was only for 5 days now they are months straight that aggravating
I'll leave this for someone who doesn't mind impolite people asking them questions.
