I am currently taking 15mg dose and have been for four weeks. I am not noticing any improvements yet in the depression. I have taken this medication before and it did help me to get back to my normal self but I can't remember how long it took to work? Have others found that it has taken 4 or more weeks to start working for depression.. ?

I know this question has been a while since first posted in 2018, but I am dealing with the same issue after 4 weeks on Remeorn. Have you had a switch or did you wait longer and got some results for your depression with this medication?
Talk to your doctor! It may be a matter of essence of time but if you've felt no improvement at all it might be time for a dosage increase.
What dose are you taking? 15mg is the initial dose and the low end of the maintenance dosage. The maximum dose is 45mg/day.
I started low with 3,75 mg/ 7,5mg and now for about 20 days 15mg. Minor improvements have happened, like slight increase in mood/ social contacts, but I am not sure if these have just happened because of time and spring kicking in.
It can take about 3-4 weeks after a dosage change to feel significant improvement of symptoms. You need to consult with your doctor for professional advice.
Hi, Wildcat, Thank you for this comment, will do!
Hi, grape! It does sometimes take as long as four to six weeks to feel the full benefits and six to eight weeks to reach therapeutic levels, but you probably should be seeing at least some improvement by now.
I'd let your doctor know where you're at because 15mg is a fairly low initial dose that could be increased to a maximum of 45mg/day if needed. If that doesn't help it might be time to look at other medication options.
Best regards and I hope you get some relief soon.
