Have lost 10 pounds in 6 months and I was also taking Metamucil. Not sure if any of these made me lose weight.
Can lisinopril cause weight loss?

Possibly has a loss of weight effect but ultimately healthy eating habits and the ability to exercise moderately are far more important. I have been on a regimen of several blood pressure pills including lisinopril for 6 years after my iliac artery bypass and my diagnosis of malignant hypertension. (Ugly disease name but basically just means the person has runaway blood pressure readings). I have ranged in weight from the 260 pound high to a current 173 pounds. My weight loss was a result of better diet and exercise (mainly playing with my two Australian shepherds and doing my own yard work).
So for me... a strict healthy diet and exercise and possibly some pharmaceutical help from lisinopril has been the reason for my weight loss. But I have yoyoed on my weight for years so this time I have invested in a nice electronic weight scale in my bathroom and I weigh every morning to see how I am doing. Try it yourself... it can help you see how you are doing every day. Adjust daily food intake to the proper weight for your body. Everyone is different.
