I am being treated by using special shoes and icing. It has gotten better, but still there. About 6 months ago I started Lipitor. Not sure if it is related or not.
The pain was even worse at night, but has gotten better since using the special shoes and ice. Don't know whether to get off the meds or not. If I walk for long periods I can feel discomfort.
Can lipitor cause a burning pain in the foot around the arch area?

I did speak to my doctor about it and got off of Lipitor for 2 weeks. The pain got 75% better, but he thought it was probably because I was icing the area and wearing supportive shoes rather than the Lipitor. It seems like they rather treat the symptoms than what could be the cause so I am now back on Lipitor and my foot is not getting any better. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a burning pain in one foot.
