I have been a heavy drinker for about 4 years but start binging lately about 20 shots all together morning day and night . I started to have withdrawals this morning and went into the er they gave me fluids,zofran for the vomiting and Valium because of my shakes and bad anxiety .They let me go after about 10 hours and 3 ib bags later and prescribed me Librium to start taking tonight . Does it really work well to prevent withdrawals and help with the ones I was feeling already ?
Does Librium help if your on day one of withdrawals?

Generally speaking yes the drug in question is effective in the use for withdrawals but everyone is different so you won't know until you try it out but I believe it will work for you -- Pharmacist in Dallas
