Hello, I'm starting to work with a psychiatrist in treating a possible Bipolar II/ Borderline Personality Disorder diagnosis. I've really struggled with finding a good medication over the last few years that helps with my mental health.
After doing some reading and research it appears that Lamictal has the least amount of reported side effects and is the most efficient at treating possible Bipolar II/ Borderline Personality Disorder.
Has anyone had experience with using Lamictal? What have been the experienced side effects?
Hi, leahmae! I've been taking lamotrigine (Lamictal) for about 2 years now and it's been my answer. It's worked beautifully along with my other medications and I've had no short- or long-term side effects. Every person responds differently to this type of medication but I think it's certainly worth a try.
