The two work very very well together, I've tried Wellbutrin for a while, however, in my case, Pristiq worked a bit better for me, not just due to the wanted effects, but due to the fact that the Wellbutrin made me too sleepy in comparison to the Pristiq. Everyone reacts very different, and I have a few other conditions that requires for me to take many other medications that also add to the sleepiness (Methadone (for chronic pain), Tramadol, and Lyrica). 0.5mg of Klonopin is a very effective does, however, unfortunately I need a higher dosage of 3mg per day. Honestly, I wish that I could take 0.5mg. Oh well. Anyways, I've tried many many antidepressants (Lexapro, Zoloft, Cialis, etc.), and the Wellbutrin would be my choice medication if it weren't for the sedative side effects (a very important issue in my case). In your situation however, I would be willing to bet that you won't find this to be a problem, and if anything, it may be beneficial for you, and the Klonopin should work perfectly together! Ultimately, all you can do is try it out, and see how you respond, and then take it from there. I hope that this solves your anxiety / obc spot on so you don't have to go through the ordeal of trial and error, which can be very very frustrating at times. And if your super lucky, the Wellbutrin will make the Klonopin unnecessary altogether, but you'll just have to just see how you respond.
Good luck, and best wishes to you!
Thank you so much for your response. I just feel a little nervous sometimes and the drs. think this will calm me down a little more and lower my blood pressure just a tad.
Thanks! I have a feeling that that your doc is probably right on, and I'm glad that I was able to help - or at least as best as I could!
