My Dr has prescribed them for sleep but at one a night, and it doesn't work for me. I have tried taking it together with xanax but still can't sleep! I am an adult, of average weight, and am taking them along side citalopram (a.m.) and tramadol (tid)
It is safe to take 2 x 3.75mg zopiclone tablets together?

Taking 2 tablets should be fine. I'd seek medical advice first, however, as zopiclone might not be the right drug for your insomnia, and there are tons of other options out there.
If you find that taking two of the tablets is effective, I'd tell your doctor this, and ask for a higher dosage. Everyone is different, and recommended dosing is just that - recommended, not mandatory.
Also, you should be safe taking that amount, since Tramadol is not a heavy CNS depressant, and Citalopram doesn't adversely interact with zopiclone.
I take the higher dose of zopiclone every night I've been on it for over a year and still sleep well at night
