Hi Eve,
Sometimes I take my sleep med 30 mins before bedtime then sit in my comfy recliner waiting to get drowsy. Most of the time I end up falling asleep in my chair. It works out okay for me. I will take my sleep wherever and whenever I can get it. *smile* Hope you feel better sweetie.

That's what I do is why I suggested 30 minutes before bedtime, but you need to be in a restful position for it to work. You can't be running around cleaning or on the internet or whatever. Just take it & relax! Mary
Usually about 20 to 30 minutes before bedtime I find is the best time... Mary
i did that once be and i never fell asleep 4 nearly 5hrs later, why is that i wonder. thanx
Tylenol PM contains acetaminophen, a pain reliever, and diphenhydramine, a sleeping aid. It is recommended to be taken at bedtime.
If you were to take it a few hours before bed it is likely to make you a little drowsy. You could try taking plain Tylenol if you did not want to feel drowsy.
