is there any problem if someone turn toward right during taking enema?
The reason for laying on the left side is for gravity to assist the fluid filling the colon. When you lay on the left side, the fluid can go up further into the colon because of the way the anatomy is-the fluid is basically flowing downhill into the colon. If you lay on the right side, the colon is in a position to where the fluid has to flow "uphill" to fully fill. Does that make sense?
