I took my first 20mg Cialis today, not much result. Has anyone had this happen?

I took a 20mg dose of Cialis approximately 60-90 minutes before sexual activity.I followed the insert's directions to the letter.My partner and I engaged in foreplay which was very arousing, but I could not achieve an erection . It was the first time I took the drug;needless to say, I'm hoping for a much better result next time.

As the Rx insert reads, there is usually some sort of external stimulation needed with these ED drugs before an erection will occur. At times such may simply be visual or mental erotica, other times some outright physical (or oral) manipulation. But yes, it's possible to pop a 20 mg pill, get distracted and active with something non-sexual and not have an erection... then suddenly ten hours later some erotic musings creep up from your subconscious and Whamo, there you have it!
