Im about to finish my first month prescription, but i have only lost 4 lbs, its kind of disappointing reading all this reviews of people losing 15-30 lbs their first month :( how can i make it work better?
I have just started my second month on phentermine. In my first month I started at 210 by the end of the first month I am at 182. I just wanted you to know that the perception of phentermine is that you can take it with no change in diet, just because it surpresses appetite for you. However this is not true for most people, if you dont change your diet and eating habits while taking this drug you will lose slowly because your still giving your body poor nutrients. Phentremine is a great drug to take if you need help changing how you eat. I know because i can easily make my food choices now that I have no cravings. My doctor was extremley impressed with my weightloss, I told her that if I was paying 40 dollars a pop for these bottles that I needed to work as a partner with it. This is not a miracle pill its more like an extreme support system. my eating plan is oatmeal with a tbl. spoon of brown sugar for breakfast, a small salad for lunch and a lean cuisine dinner for my last meal and i dont eat anything after 9. in between meals i have a piece of fruit. I would have lost more weight but so many holidays and birthdays in one month i did have the occasional unhealthy dinners and desserts. I cut out my coffee and all other drinks. I only drink water now, that is a huge help. I f you are serious about losing weight you have to make extreme measure to change your lifestyle. after your off of phentermine it may be dfficult to continue. going three months with a serious eating plan on phentermine can only help you adjust to your new habits. I know that once i finish with my final month My succcess with my weightloss will be a tool to help me continue. Here is an example of my experience. I went to the doctor last month to begin phentermine her nurse started taking at the same time. when i went back for my check up, they weighed me and that same nurse said wow you look great, your on phentermine right i said yes mam. she said "so am I". I asked her when did u start she said" last month". she looked completey the same from my last visit. she said "yea you must work out like everday"? she said "im not a big fan of working out and I like it because i am still eating the same just not as much." The truth is i walk 30 mins 3 times a week. thats not hardcore working out. Fianlly I just wanna share with you that my weight had me at tears and depression constantly, so many failed diets and not enough support. You can do it!! just have to make a change. I hope with my loooong comment you get some kind of direction. Goodluck!!!

It is important to eat properly and exercise, even if you are using a medication to help. "Phentermine is used for a limited period of time to speed weight loss in overweight people who are exercising and eating a low-calorie diet. Phentermine is in a class of medications called anorectics. It works by decreasing appetite." (PubMed health website). If you are having trouble deciding what a good exercise regimen or eating plan is for you trying talking to a nutritionist or dietitian (which are often covered by insurance plans now if that is your worry). Reviews can be made by people who work for the company in some cases (depending partly on where you are finding them) so take them lightly. Also, don't forget that sometimes people are different and you may experience less results at the beginning and more in the end, or they may have weighed more than you did. I searched it on the website to see the sites that generally pop up and most of the sites have the name of the drug in their main title, so they are likely selling or encouraging use of the drug and reviews on these website may not be completely accurate.
