Yes you can they work in different ways in the body. One is basically for pain and other is for inflammation. Just don't do it all the time. To hard on the organs!!! Take with food to help with the break down.

I'm doing better Lara.. I'm Brenda. Working on day five after a left side L5-S1 Microdiskectomy. Healing slow but still moving.. Lol
Hi Joey,
You can take both, or so I was told by my dentist, at the same time. I don't mean to be disrespectful to the other person that answered, but I've been told by both dentist and my pain management specialist that you can take both at the same time, yet I'd not do this often! Your liver will thank you for not taking this combo too often.
Best wishes to you,
Lara
Yes you can.I dont know why your going back and forth but yes it's safe.As long as you wait 6 hours after taking the Ibuprofen just to be safe. Because the acetaminophen and ibuptofen are like the same.So you would be over the dose for the 6 hours. The maximum amount of ibuprofen for adults is 800 milligrams per dose or 3200 mg per day (4 maximum doses).Be safe and I hope this cleared this up for you.
