If modifications to my medications have been made, when should I have another set of blood tests done to see if there have been changes that may affect my health?

Hello. Generally the health care professional perscribes the time between blood tests for reasons to check your progress or lack thereof of any treatment he has started you on
I get a blood test before every visit (3 or 4 times a year) because I'm a diabetic and he needs to constantly keep a close eye on my glucose (sugar) levels. This is just one (my experience) example. There are many other reasons and you can simply ask.

If your Dr. modifies the medications you are taking prescribed by him/her, it is your Dr., according to the medications you are prescribed to determine how often you must have blood work done and perhaps other tests/exams/procedures... etc..
