Got dehydrated and stopped taking it. Working on rehydration. Planning on going out in the sun in a few days. I want to be sure it's out of my system.
How long does lasix remain in my system?

Lasix lasts about 6-8 hours in your system. Be careful in the sun you may want to wear some sunscreen if you take the Lasix that day. Keep yourself well hydrated if you are not on a liquids restriction as Lasix can be very dehydrating, which is of course the reason for being on it--- water retention. Be careful not to overdo it on the hydration so you don't end up with retention again and have to go back on it. Hope this helps you out some.
Thanks so much Marjorie! I've stopped taking it as of day before yesterday and I feel so much better today it's amazing. It's good to know that I'm not fighting the medication to get rehydrated. You've been a great help. :-)
