2mg Klonopin, 200mg Lamictal and gabapentin. Wildcat was very helpful but I can’t fit anymore questions under my original ones. So, with the low addition of Buspar, I’m wondering if it might help immediately? I am treatment resistant so this is difficult. I’m currently taking prednisone also which makes my anxiety unbearable. Any thoughts/experience would be greatly appreciated
Hello. I had .5mg/day added today. I also take 45mg mirtizapine?

Me again... because I take buspirone (BuSpar) daily. Honestly, I wonder how effective 5mg/day would be. It's usually prescribed as an increasing dose until you get the full benefits. There are two trains of thought ... one says that buspirone can be used as needed and the other is that it needs to be taken for 4-6 weeks before you start feeling it working fully.
Okay, I'm also treatment resistant and so I'm currently taking the maximum dose of 60mg/daily. I needed to keep increasing my dosage until we got the full effect. Once we got there it's been working great.
One other thing... from the reviews it looks like that there's about a slightly better than 50/50 chance
that it will works for you. Everybody responds differently but for me it's been great for years. Because of it's relative few side effects and potential effectiveness I'd give it a try if I were you.
