I would say you should talk to your doctor about amoxicillin 875mg/clavulanic acid 125mg to treat the infection.

I would try to touch your chin to your chest. If you can not do it, you need to go in to the ED. It could be Meningitis. I am speaking from personal experience!

Have you tried taking pseudophendrine? It's a decongestant that will relieve pressure in your sinuses, and promote drainage. I have had a sinusitis recently. Terrible! And I too was put on heavy duty antibiotics. I worked as a pharmacy technician, and I can tell you taking pseudophendrine will help. If you have high blood pressure, get Coricidin.

Kiminky, Glad to hear you are doing better. Hope it never happens again, but if it does I would go to the ER, they will have equipment needed to diagnose if it is something serious. Try another Dr, nothing else can be done without one on one diagnosis & treatment., If you have no faith in the first Dr you mention you'll need a 2nd opinion, don't hesitate as this could be serious.

When I had the worst headache of my life which no pain killer would stop, within 3 weeks I had a major stroke. You have not been given any strong pain killers though. If you have a terrible headache that keeps you from functioning, then you should go the ER to possibly get an MRI to evaluate what is going on. Hope your headache goes away soon.

Can you describe the headache? That will help in knowing what to do.
