I have taken Gabapentin and on the contrary have seen loss in weight which is indeed a reported side effect of the med.
Maybe meds react differently to different people, consulting the doc who prescribed Gabapentin would be a good idea.

Ihave been on gabapentin for a few weeks now and I all so take amertripalin dose it make you gain weight as am not a big eater

Are u sure u can regulate ur meds? Elavil. Concerns me. We each need to be familiar with spelling or alternate name of our meds.

Elavil definitely makes me gain weight. So does Gabapentin. I am so happy that it causes some people to lose weight. I have Burning Mouth Syndrome and I really need a nerve medicine to take. The only medicine that I took that made be lose weight was Zonigran, which is a seizure medicine that helped some with my Burning Mouth Syndrome.
Is there anything that has helped anyone with their Burning Mouth Syndrome?
