I am on the liquid and started at only 2 mg because I am very sensitive to medication
Will it be hard to taper off of 5 mg of Lexapro? I have taken it for about a year and a half.

Answers
Hi, Marla!
Even though that's a low dose you should just go very slowly when discontinuing the medication. That's really the trick to avoiding withdrawal symptoms. It's best if you discuss it with your doctor and come up with a schedule you can follow under their supervision.
Just because I'm nosy, why are you stopping it?
