I’ve been on oxycodone 30mg three times a day for 9 years. It has been 3 days since my doctor switched me to Lortab 10mg and my back is hurting really bad. I broke my back in half 9 years ago and they took my spleen out and other things have happened to me. I’m getting sick to my stomach. What can I tell my doctor so he will put me back on the oxycodone?
I’m handicapped from different spots from my hip down and I’ve got 3 bed scores on my bottom.

It is a real shame that so many physicians have stopped prescribing stronger opioids like oxycodone and hydromorphone to their deserved chronic pain patients. It just tells us how much influence legal definition and legislators hold over the medical community. It is a crying shame. I sincerely hope you are able to get the help you so desperately need.
