I have been reading the reviews regarding Pristiq. One review that I read mentioned something about using the generic and having dizziness problems sleeping and more anxiety. This is important as I am on a generic and I am starting to feel the same way. How do I know which generic is made by which manufacturer? Which one should I avoid?
Generic for Pristiq, is it different than the brand?

I agree with Wildcat except that I have experienced side effects with different generics. Be watchful because some pharmacists will change manufactures without your knowledge or permission,
They always order the least expensive generic in order to keep your costs down. If you're using a generic that's working well for you ask your pharmacist if they can keep a special order in stock for you. Most pharmacies will honor this request but sometimes the "mom and pop" shops are more co-operative than the big chains. It may also cost you slightly more but it's worth it to you.
Hi, amineo!
Generics from different manufacturers may contain different fillers, binders, colouring agents, etc. which may hinder absorption of the drug itself. Usually you would feel the difference immediately upon starting a new prescription.
The manufacturer of the generic you're using is noted on your prescription bottle.
The one that works well for you is the one to take. Everyone responds differently and what works for one may not work for another.
Personally, I have taken generics and found no difference in the effectiveness and had no side effects. :)
Best regards,
Wildcat
