The doctor can write a script that says "Dispense only brand name drug. No generic substitutions."
Hi. You can ask for the prescription to be "non generic" or you can try a different pharmacy. That's about the only choice you'll have.
Pharmacies usually buy from a distribution company and they get whatever that company or co-op has.
