Inactive ingredients consist of cellulose, ethylcellulose, gelatin, hypromellose, iron oxide, and titanium dioxide.
When, I was on it I could only take brand Effexor XR-as brand has sulfa. If, I had to take the generic I could only take the regular Effexor. I wasn’t sure if, you meant regular Effexor or Effexor XR. Above are the inactive ingredients for time released generic. I hope this helps.
I would still ask your pharmacist to be sure especially, if you have and issue with it.
Take care!
I am not positive but I am extremely allergic to sulfa drugs and have been on Effexor for 24 years with no negative effects.
