... diverticulitus? I've Been having small thin stools and last night I had aweful bloating in my upper tummy area. I'm on antiobiotics and bentyl since yesterday. I'm not sure what's causing the bloating And small stools. I was diognosed a month ago. So I'm new to all of this. Now I'm on a fiber free soft food diet. Ugh! Any and all answers would be greatly appreciated.

Some of the antibiotics used for diverticulitis react with alcohol and propylene glycol (Miralax). You should speak to your doctor or pharmacist first.
Try Miralax.
Gee, I wouldn't chance it without your Dr's approval to be safe.
My dr isn't in til Monday, I'm calling him then. I'm feeling alittle better now.. Bloating comes and go, I'm thinking it's from eating..soft foods and no fiber.. Being new to all of this, I think I'm gong to start writing a diary of everything I eat , maybe I can figure this out. Thank you for commenting Balbanese, much appreciated! :)
