I'm prescribed 900mg gabapentin and 10/325 oxycodone. Are they safe to take together? I am nervous! Some things say it's safe & others say it is deadly. I'm so confused! Waiting to hear back from my doctor. Has anyone taken them together?

Yes I’ve taken Gabapentin and oxycodone together and it’s fine, just be aware that they can knock you out so it’s good to increase the Gabapentin gradually.
Personally I took 400mg of Gabapentin and 10mg oxycodone 3 times a day. Then after a while they switched me to Tramadol because it’s a preferred treatment for neuropathy, so now I take Gabapentin and Tramadol together without any issues. I hope things work out for you.
Yes, they can, however I understand your nervousness. You could always try taking half of the oxycodone at first to see how you feel. Initially you might consider taking it at home when you don’t have anything planned (driving, appointments, etc.) and/or having someone with you to pass the time.
I have taken them together myself but I did stop the gabapentin because it had side effects I did not like. I am also an Registered Nurse, if that helps ease your mind.
Yes! I took them together for years. Would still be but doctors are afraid to write a prescription for Oxycodone.
Yes both can be taken together.
I have taken the 2 together and had the same dosage. I had no problems at first. I eventually had to stop the gabapentin because of the side effects. Not because I was on the oxycodone but because gabapentin has lots of nasty side effects. Just make sure you read up on the side effects of gabapentin so you can keep your physician informed.
