Do flecainide and diltiazem work together?

Using dilTIAZem together with flecainide can increase the effects of either medication. You may need a dose adjustment or need your blood pressure checked more often if you take both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

BTW, to ease your mind, most likely your Dr. is aware of the potential interaction between both medications and has outweighed that the benefits are greater than the potential risks.
