I got some etizolam from somewhere, through the mail, I was wondering if it is like xanax?
Is etizolam the same as xanax?

They are more like Valium, about the same chemical makeup.
No. They’re similar in a way, think of them like cousins. Alprazolam - Xanax would have a faster onset and short lasting effects, that described as a rush. Prescribed for anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal and sleep disorders. Where as Etizolam can be similar to Alprazolam (benzo), Etizolam is a thienodiazepine it does also have a fast onset but a longer duration, some think Etizolam is more potent than alprazolam. Etizolam also has medical effects used for not only anxiety alcohol whithdrawl and sleep disorders but also muscle relaxant properties, anti depression and pain relieving properties. It has been known to have been (growing more and more commonly) prescribed for pain such as migraine and/or other headaches, backaches, toothaches & period pain in women. Very effect for people suffering from both anxiety and pain but more than likely to be prescribed with another form of pain relief if you are suffering from both. Etizolam is the only drug of the benzo family to have pain relieving properties to the extent of been prescribed for pain. It also releases small amounts of seratonin into your brain which is also the only drug in the benzo family to do so. Safe in low doses and very effective. Unfortunately quite expensive for the Signature brand which I think is most effective.
