I am taking Lexapro 10 mg in the last 4 weeks, by mornings.
I was doing good with it, but now after 4 weeks of treatment I’ve been feeling dizzy and a little somnolent during the day.
I thought that if I had to have any side effects it would appear in the begging of treatment. Did someone experience something similar?
Escitalopram - Is it possible to present side effects only after 4 weeks of treatment?

Hello,
Side effects usually resolve within a few days to a week or 2. My guess is that 10mg is starting to become less effective and you may need a dose increase. This is just my opinion. But, you should definitely speak with your doctor. He/she should know what to do, okay? I hope you feel better.

I am taking escitaloprám and I'm at 5 weeks. I was wondering the same thing. I'm using 5mg and it seem to be working but I too felt dizzy often. I think maybe to tell the doctor the side effects can happen a month in. I'm calling today and I will post response.
