Just ran out of my scrip for Enalapril HCTZ 5-12.5mg and the pharmacy is closed. I have an older Bottle of Enalapril Maleate 2.5 mg. can I use these older pills to get through until i get to the pharmacy in the AM when in opens at 10AM? BP is now 149/90

Yes, that will be better than missing a dose. If you take 1 x Enalapril HCTZ 5-12.5mg tablets then you will need to take 2 of the 2.5 mg Enalapril tablets.
Yes. The difference is that the hctz is a water pill. Its better to take the plain one them no bp med at all.
