My dose is 5mg twice a day.
I am on Eliquis. Can I drink pomegrante juice and use cinnamon on a regular basis?

Sorry, but I must disagree the above commenter. There is no problem that has been reported in the trials or by the FDA from the Adverse Events Reporting system that people have had problems with Pomegranate juice or Cinnamon taken with Eliquis. That is the point of doctors prescribing Eliquis or Xarelto instead of warfarin. These interaction problems are associated with warfarin Not the new anticoagulants. Vitamins, including Vitamin K, do Not effect Eliquis, Pradaxa or Xarelto. Also, there is No regular testing requirement for Eliquis, Pradaxa or Xarelto.
If you are concerned with excessive bleeding, then you should see you hematologist for testing and evaluation.
Eliquis is an anticoagulant.
Anticoagulant and cinnamon together - one should be very careful about that. Be extremely cautious about the interactions and frequent testing is highly recommended.
Anticoagulant and Pomegrante juice together - my experience is no because the juice contains Vitamin K which might cause interactions.
