It shouldnt show up since it is over the counter but sometimes drugs trigger false positives in immunoassay tests. These can be confirmed as false positives with a more accurate test called GC-MS. Dont worry overly, it really shouldnt show but if you do get a false positive, be sure that they retest it using GC-MS to confirm.
If it has phenylephrine in it it can cause a false pos amphetamine.
Well crap I called my local ace on site drug testing facility the lady stated that it was a over the counter med and that it should not show up + I'm so confused any more info out there I only took 1 dose last night been up with major congestion and cant breath thru my nose my test will be in 3 days should be a low enough dose right do you think maybe it won't cause a false positive?
