Answers
The fact that this question is asked, worries me to say the least. I have been taking Pravastatin for a month and I am presently undergoing the worst episode of gout/arthritis related knee joint pain. My only change is the abandonment of simvastatin and adoption of Pravastatin.
It doesn't appear to increase uric acid ... gout is not stated as a side effect.
