How to get my doctor to prescribe me Xanax for every day use?

I am about ready to switch back to Xanax myself. I'm currently taking Ativan but its barely working. Just got info on a psychiatrist down here which I will probably see before much longer.My family dr is tired of trying me on different antidepressants that side effects are too horrible to stay on. The ones ( and I have been on numerous ones in 25 years) that either just quit working or I have an allergic reaction to them that sends me to the ER.
It's time for you to find a psychiatrist that will listen to you. My anxiety is through the roof.

Again, using common sense You go find another doctor, preferably a psychiatrist. And if he won’t, then you look for another. This is not rocket science. There are plenty or doctors that are willing to Rx benzos for daily use.
