Hi, i haven't had these side effects either... there is a chance that another week could make a difference. When i first taking taking Citalopram i had awful side effects (different to your though) for the first 3 weeks, but by the end of week 4 i felt a world of difference. How long did you take the other antidepressants for before discontinuing them?
I was on them for just over 4 weeks for each of them. kind of thinking that I can't take any if them. I wasn't dizzy before I had my anxiety. I don't know if I should make my dose higher, my doctor just keep going. I am over it. but don't know if I can function off anything.
Maybe you should ask your doctor for a medication that is more tailored for anxiety, rather than take an antidepressant? I take Pregabalin, aka, Lyrica, for GAD (generalised anxiety disorder), and it has definitely calmed me down and helped me to be more relaxed & outgoing...
What family does the Lycra come from. Is it a ssri or something different. What side effects of this one did you get from it.
It is actually an anti-epileptic medication, but can be used for many other reasons including analgesia. My psychiatrist uses Pregabalin (Lyrica) a lot in patients with anxiety to great success. I don't know how you would feel about taking this medication off label? It has been great for me & i have suffered no side effects
Never made me dizzy made me feel like so tired and out of it for 3 days like a zombie afterwards it was like I had taken a placebo no effect on my anxiety useless pill
Hello concerned123. After three weeks these side effects should have eased or stopped altogether. I would let your doctor know as soon as possible as to what is happening. Regards pledge
thxs I will. I have also tried prozac and zolft. they both made me dizzy and prozac made me want to throw up. and zoloft made me sweat like crazy. woke up dripping wet. I am so sensitive to this kind of thing. Never taken anything before. Does anyone have any other suggestions.
