What is difference between acetaminophen 500mg and Tylenol 3?

The difference is that acetaminophen 500 mg. does not contain codeine like tylenol 3, which has codeine.

Acetaminophen and codeine is a combination medicine used to relieve moderate to severe pain.
*Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and a fever reducer.
Acetaminophen is used to treat many conditions such as headache, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers.
