If you didn't titration your Tylenol 3 dose downward then it's almost definitely withdrawals.
From my experience it sounds like withdrawal. You were taking enough Tylenol 3 for a long enough time to go thru a mild withdrawal. Many withdrawal symptoms are similar to the flu... body aches, diarrhea, etc. Any trouble sleeping or restless legs?
You know because you were taking a narcotic for 2 weeks and stopped it abruptly. You will have withdrawal that way. Didn't the dr give you gabapentin for the pain too?
If the only problem you're having is diarrhea, you can take imodium for it. If you have other symptoms of withdrawal, then taking a smaller dose of the drug and tapering down will help.
Thank you for your answer - I didn't get gabapentin (not sure what that is) because I still have pain I just assume i'll have to manage it until its over. If this is withdrawal I don't want to do this again. I am having stomach flu symptoms as well - so hard for me to figure out. Thanks again and seasons greetings
