How long have you been on Depo, or how many shots have you had? This makes a difference to the advice I can give you.

It's normal to spot or bleed until you've had 2/3 shots.
When you decide to come off Depo, this can also trigger bleeding for weeks or months.
Hopefully you'll find the bleeding stops altogether after 2/3 shots.

You could have lots of hormonal symptoms whilst your body readjusts. It'd only just started getting used to Depo, & now it has to stop. This can really upset the balance of your body, & any symptoms you'd get with a period or pregnancy, can occur, because they're all hormonal symptoms.
As I mentioned before, you can expect spotting & irregular bleeding (sometimes heavy) for possible months after stopping Depo. I had an awful time getting it out of my system. That was why I'd suggested giving it 2 or 3 shots, but if it was unbearable then I understand you not wanting to try that.
If they get unbearable then you can see your doctor to try to help you with the symptoms.

It can take up to 18 months to get your fertility/periods back, from the date of the missed shot.

Yes. I saw your comment last time. I didn't think you were asking me anything, & must have just been updating the thread for future readers, as there was no question.
I did say that spotting was to be expected for a very long time, in some cases, & that it's a very large dose of hormone for your body to recover from.
