Does it get better in citalopram I was on 10 mg for 4 weeks first week on 20 mg anxiety so high?

Unfortunately, increased anxiety can be a side effect at least initially and it usually resolves in a couple of weeks. Remember, you just doubled your dose.
Did you have problems on the 10mg dose? You may want to try lowering your dose temporarily so that your metabolism has a better chance of adjusting. Ask your doctor about using an oral solution so that you can easily measure out the correct dose. Maybe even start at 5mg for a short while.
You could also ask about something else you could take along with the citalopram until it's effects really kick in.

Yes I have Xanax don’t really like taking them and I work also
I understand about the Xanax... I've never used it though and thankfully don't need to. I hope this all works out for you and you're feeling better quickly.
