No they aren't the same carvedilol is the generic form of Coreg a beta blocker that help you have a stable heart beat. Clopidogrel is the generic form of Plavix, it is an anticoagulant that stop your blood from clotting. There are those who want to say that it is a blood thinner but not really. I've been taking it for 8 years and my platelet count is on the high side of normal, just doesn't clot.
Coagulation is not solely platelet dependant, I always have low platelets but my clotting factors are healthy; there are about 7 of them from memory. Apart from that you get a vote.
