I am taking carvedilol and clopidogrel. Are they the same medicine?
No they aren't the same carvedilol is the generic form of Coreg a beta blocker that help you have a stable heart beat. Clopidogrel is the generic form of Plavix, it is an anticoagulant that stop your blood from clotting. There are those who want to say that it is a blood thinner but not really. I've been taking it for 8 years and my platelet count is on the high side of normal, just doesn't clot.
