My mom is taking lipitor and 1500 mg of calcium supplement and someone told her that she should not take them at the same time (as in same time of day together) Is this true and if so why?

I am taking 1000mg of Calcium along with Atorvastatin daily, it would be recommended to speak to your health provider in case of any doubts, hope this helps?
What I need to know is... if you take the calcium at say 2:00, can you take the Lipitor at 2:00 also? Someone told her that you should have at least 2 hours between. Thanks for the response by the way.
