Just don't take the calcium carbonate at the same time as other meds because it can hinder absorption. Space them about half an hour from it.
Yes you can take an anti acid like tums safely with a ppi like omeprazole and you also can take a h2 blocker like pepcid or Zantac. They all do different things. Tums neutralizes acid , Zantac block a histamine to slow down and weaken acid and omeprazole shuts the acid pump off. Please see a doctor when you can there are many other ppi's that my help control you symptoms, good luck
