Currently take Boniva monthly but would like to change to daily or weekly alendronate to save Rx copays.
Can levothyroxine and alendronate be taken together first thing in the AM 30 minutes before eating?

The alendrontate info says not to take with other medications. Don't want to have one cancel out the other but need both.

Do you wake up at least once at night, 2 or 3 hours after your last snack or meal? I usually wake at 3 a.m. so I take my synthroid then, since I have to take gemfibrozil EVERY day 30 minutes before my first meal. On the day I take the alendronate, I skip the gemfibrozil or take it before a mid-morning snack or before lunch. My endocrinologist okayed this. She said the alendronate "trumps all other meds, foods, beverages, vitamins, etc.".
I usually take my synthroid by itself and the other meds either be for after I eat depending on when I take the Synthroid This is what I do Hope this helps
