Klonopin 0.5mg tab is too small to be split, splitting the pill may not be exactly half the dose so it is not recommended to split the tablet.
However, maybe a pharmacist could help more with a pill splitter, take care.
Best wishes!
Hi-thanks for taking the time to answer. Truly appreciate it. I did use a pill splitter-seemed to work well as long as I was REALLY careful and aligned the scored part exactly with the blade. I did contact my pharmacist, though-just to be certain that this wasn't one of the meds that caused problems if it was cut.Have a happy holiday!
Most welcome, you did the right thing to contact a pharmacist, please take care, best wishes & wish you too happy holidays & a merry Christmas!
I take klonopin 0.5 and split it all the time. Have been taking it for 20 yrs or about. Because it is scored, that means it can be cut. Any pill that isn't score, you can't cut. I only take 1/2 a pill a bedtime.

So is it safe to split them ? 0.5
