Buspar tends to give me insomnia. Is it safe to take buspar in the morning and then ativan at night (not nightly, but just occasionally for insomnia)? How many hours should it be space out?

Hi, renee!
The potential interaction would be some dizziness or drowsiness. Your doses would be spaced far enough apart taking BuSpar in the the the a.m. and the Ativan at or near bedtime. Worst case it'll make you drowsy and you'll sleep like a baby.
