I have been on Breo 200 mg. for over a year. My voice changes and sounds hoarse only when I FAIL TO RINSE PROPERLY BY MAKING SURE I SWISH THE WATER AROUND AND SPIT IT OUT WITHOUT ALLOWING ANY OF THE WATER IN MY MOUTH TO BE SWALLOWED.
Yes it does. I sound ill all the time.
I took Breo for two years and it caused a complete loss of voice. I'm over 65, so I'm in the group that has the most voice side effect. I switched from Breo to Singulair and my voice came back, but my asthma is worse. I may have to switch back in order to breathe. I'm going to try the water/vinegar gargle one member has suggested. It seems I have a choice: Speak or breathe. I'm still searching for another answer. Good luck.
I use Anoro Ellipta, I must gargle with vinegar and water after I inhale it, if not I get mucus build up in my throat.
