I have never heard of biotin causing anxiety. In fact, B vitamins such as biotin may help anxiety, if proper dosage is taken. Now that I think about it, an overdose of biotin may contribute to anxiety. That is why it is best to take a reasonable dosage of biotin if you do start this supplement, at no more than 500 mg. If this is not causing anxiety for you you may increase all the way up to 1000mg. If this dosage does however give you anxiety then you may further decrease the dose.
The supplement I take is 5,000 mcg. of biotin in a soft gel, daily.
