I’ve been given a trial kit of Viibryd by my doctor for anxiety and trouble sleeping due to my mind racing. I was not given a time to take each daily dose. Looking for guidance.
What is the best time to take Viibryd?

Hi Wendi:
Mid morning with breakfast has always worked best for me. Remember, Viibryd must be taken with food - even if just a slice of toast, smoothie, granola bar. Taking Viibryd on an empty stomach is tantamount to cutting the dose by half as it is not absorbed the way the manufacturer intended.

One of Viibryd's most common side effects is sedation/sleepiness so I'd suggest you try taking it just before bedtime. It should help with your sleep problems.

Possible side effects-somnolence and insomnia affecting 1% to 10% of people taking this antidepressant.
Take it and see if insomnia affects you then take in the morning the same with somnolence then take it at night. Remember they are potential side effects, they may or may not affect you.
To get the best results take it everyday at the same time.
