My doctor just prescribed me Viibryd. I took day 4 10 mg this morning. I do not want to take it anymore. Can I just quit cold turkey?

Hi, mistilinab!
After only four days you probably wouldn't have any discontinuation symptoms but Viibryd has a long half life of about 25 hours. This means that after 25 hours your metabolism will have eliminated 50% of your last dose, after 25 more hours only 25% will remain, etc.
If you want to stop because of side effects it make take 3-4 days before you feel better.
You really should talk to your doctor about how to stop or if there are remedies (many OTC) to minimize or eliminate side effects.
Best regards,
Generally speaking you can stop most of these meds cold turkey if you have not been on them for more than a week, especially those with a long 1/2 life - and this one is 25 hours, i.e., longish. But please double check with your doctor or pharmacist.
