A day or so following regular administering of Bynadryl to my Dog to combat allergy/itching symptoms, he began consuming much more water than was usual. I ceased the dosage and his water consumption began decreasing. Wondering if this coincidence or result of cessation of usage. Thanks.
Could the use of Benadryl by my Dog result in excessive intake of water???

Benadryl is very drying. It makes your mouth feel like its got cotton in it. Poor doggie was thirsty.
